Paul Myners became a partner and Chairman of Cevian’s UK activities in May 2011. Previously, he served as Financial Services Secretary in the UK Treasury (2008-2010), and was among the principal architects of the UK’s £500 billion bank recapitalisation. In the UK he is known for highlighting “ownerless corporations” as a source of corporate underperformance, and for calling upon asset owners and managers to be more active owners. He has considerable experience within listed company board rooms, having chaired Land Securities (then the largest listed real estate company in Europe), Marks & Spencer (a leading UK retailer) and the Guardian Media Group. He has served as a director for numerous other companies, including PowerGen (vice-chairman), 02, Orange, GLG, Bank of New York (US), Celltech, Aspen and NatWest. From 1985 to 2001 he was Chief Executive and later Chairman of Gartmore, a leading UK institutional investment manager.
Paul Myners has also been a member of the Court of the Bank of England, a board member of the (UK) Financial Reporting Council, a member of the (UK) Panel on Takeovers and Mergers and the City Disputes Panel, chairman of the investment committee of Lloyds of London, and a member of the investment board of Singapore’s GIC. He is a member of the House of Lords.
Mr. Zimmerman has been with Cevian since 2003, initially as a member of its investment committee and board of directors; since 2007 as a full-time partner. Prior to joining Cevian, Mr. Zimmerman was a partner at Capital Z Investment Partners, where he worked with private equity and hedge funds sponsored by Capital Z. Previously, he was a manager of private equity and listed equities at F & C Management (then Foreign & Colonial), and a project financier at Morgan Grenfell & Co.

Mr. Zimmerman holds an MBA in Finance from Wharton, an MA in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in International Relations and Russian from the University of California, Davis.
Mr. Alexanderson has been with Cevian since inception in 2002 and is a Partner at Cevian’s Stockholm office. From 2000 to 2002, he worked as an Investment Analyst at Custos.

Mr. Alexanderson holds a MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics and the Stockholm University School of Business.
Mr. Läber is a Partner of Cevian Capital and co-head of Cevian’s Swiss office. He joined Cevian in 2008. From 2001 to 2008, he worked at McKinsey & Company, ultimately as an Associate Principal, where he served as a member of the Corporate Finance Practice.

Mr. Läber holds a PhD in Finance from University of Zurich, an MSc in Engineering from ETH Zurich, and a MA in Economics from University of Zurich.
Mr. Oliw joined Cevian Capital in the first year of operation in 2003 and is a Partner at Cevian’s Stockholm office.

Mr. Oliw holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics and an MSc in Engineering Physics from KTH in Stockholm.
Mr. Synnergren is a Partner of Cevian Capital and head of Cevian’s Swedish office. He joined Cevian in 2007. From 2000-2006 he worked at the Boston Consulting Group, ultimately as Senior Project Leader.

Mr. Synnergren holds an M.Sc in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics, including studies at HEC in Paris.
Mr. Tischendorf is a Partner of Cevian Capital and co-head of Cevian’s Swiss office. He joined Cevian in 2008. From 2000 to 2008, he worked at A.T. Kearney, ultimately as Principal.

Mr. Tischendorf holds an MSc in Business Administration and Computer Science from Technical University of Darmstadt and a Diplôme d’études approfondies from Ecole Centrale de Lyon.
